After all that turkey we decided to take a trip to
Charlotte, NC. We stayed at the Westin
Uptown (Charlotte’s “downtown”); enjoyed our 24th floor view and the pool and sauna. We had dinners at the McNinch House and
Georges Brasserie. We walked many miles
and spent time at the Mint Museum and loved Fantastic Frogs at Discovery Place
(supposedly for children). Anna bought herself an early Christmas present, a cobalt blue cashmere sweater, at Neiman Marcus. Although we were
underwhelmed by the much touted NoDa we otherwise really enjoyed North Carolina's largest city.
