Opa was 80 on March 4th. Leslie and Siegi flew down from Connecticut to surprise him. It was a surprise for sure. We all went out to dinner at Il Palio in Chapel Hill and had an amazing meal. The service was superb; the food sublime. On Saturday we took them to Saffron, an Indian restaurant, touted by the local Indian population as the best! It was an adventure for Opa and Oma because they have never been to an Indian restaurant before. It was fun to watch Opa inhale the Tandoori Chicken and Lentil and Rice balls and Oma enjoy the Chicken Tikka Masala.
