First Fall Outfit

Anna wore her newest Elie Tahari ensemble to work today.

CenterFest Arts Festival in Durham, NC

Had a glorious weather day at the festival.  Saw wonderful crafts (including ships and lighthouses in bottles). Anna bought a silk scarf.  Best in Show was won by a Japanese basket weaver.  And then there was the parade by the Bull City Strutters --- and a blues band which included a woman who, to the music, created art with oils and a palette knife.  America is a great country!

And then we ate cod.

With corn on the cob, and kale fried with bacon and tomatoes.

Healthy dinner: King Salmon, mango, carrots, tomatoes, sauteed kale, and avocado. I bought it, she made it, we ate it.

Warm Night in Chapel Hill

Walking back to our car in Chapel Hill, we posed Anna at a large, gnarly tree.  Just because.

Penultimate Day at OBX

Went to the harbor at Manteo and the Bodie Island lighthouse with Lynne and Jim.

Happy Hour at the Fishing Pier (10 cent shrimp) - with Lynne and Jim.
