Race for the Cure for Breast Cancer

We ran in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Raleigh.  There were 7,500 runners and it was beastly hot already at 8:00 am when the race began.  Anna Raised almost $400 dollars and acquitted herself well.

Myron came in third out of four runners in his age group.  The others in his age group were evidently smart enough to stay in their air conditioned homes!

One Night in Grandy, NC

Spent the night at a quaint hunting/fishing lodge with 12 motel rooms.  Ate well, saw the sunset and the osprey nest.

Dierks Bentley Concert at "The Creek"

We had VIP tickets to see a country and western concert with Maddie & Tae, Kip Moore and Dierks Bentley.  Before the show we saw Dierks at the VIP enclave and Anna had him sign her "Free and Easy" lanyard.  Our tickets were two rows behind The Pit.  We made a slide show and some short videos so you could feel the vibe.

Paint Night
