Last Dip Before Leaving the Beach House

Anna could not resist one last shot at the ocean before we left Nags Head after two weeks.  At the very beginning of the video clip, Anna uses a scuba diving sign (her fist on her head) to indicate she's okay.

Ninjas at the Adventure Park

We drove Chikage and Riku back to the airport in Norfolk and they flew back to NYC as "unaccompanied minors".  Their dad, Ren, picked them up at La Guardia Airport.

Anna and Myron, Maggie and Jeff, left to their own devices, hit the new Adventure park.  Maggie and Jeff were outstanding (they finished all 48 obstacles!).  Anna and Myron did well given the fact that they are "senior" ninjas.

Tokyo Grandchildren at the Beach House in Nags Head, NC

We flew Chikage and Riku from NYC to the airport in Norfolk, VA where we had left our car.  On the way to the beach house we stopped for a ride on the Monster Truck.

We visited Kitty Hawk Kites and the kids acquitted themselves well on the climbing wall.

Then, of course, ice cream was called for (Chikage - Cotton Candy flavor; Riku - Rocky Road in a chocolate chip cone).

Chikage and Riku set up a tent in the beach house bunk bed room and then Chikage did some artwork with Anna and a science experiment (summertime school homework) with Myron while Riku relaxed.

Maggie and Jeff flew in from Salt Lake City Utah and helped us have some beach fun.
